Random Quotes

By Zhenyi Tan

Just writing down some quotes that I came across recently, or that randomly popped into my brain. They made me think, but for some reason, I cannot turn those thoughts into blog posts. So here they are, in their original form.

Joan Westenberg:

Pete Brown:

[Advertising] only works in the short term. In the long term, you are only teaching people to think they should be able to get the thing you make for free.

Tom Scott:

Why the Lucky Stiff:

When you don’t create things, you become defined by your tastes rather than ability. Your tastes only narrow and exclude people. So create.
